Alan Sclar
Partner

Alan Sclar is a partner of the firm.  His practice focuses on appellate litigation and complex civil litigation.  He has represented a wide variety of clients in numerous appellate matters in the Second Circuit and the New York appellate courts.  Mr. Sclar has handled appeals involving legal issues in far ranging areas of the law, including administrative, business, contracts, constitutional, environmental, insurance, products liability, professional liability and transportation. An expert negotiator, he also has attained most favorable results for the firm’s clients on both litigation and transactional matters.  Alan combines his legal talents with numerous business and political relationships to provide insight and vision to the firm’s clients.

Alan is a former legislative aid to a prior New York State Speaker of the House and clerked for the Honorable Leon Ruchelsman of the New York Supreme Court.
